​Carl is a co-founder and managing member of Acta Ventures. His diverse professional background spans across the finance, sales, and consulting functions. His professional experience, which includes everything from a privately held technology provider to Fortune 500 companies, and his passion for driving value have manifested itself in working in the small business space.  

He graduated with a B.S. in Finance at Boston College and an M.B.A. at Carnegie Mellon University. Carl, his wife Susanna, and their two children reside outside of Pittsburgh, PA.

​Jordan spent his entire career at Amazon prior to founding Acta Ventures with Carl. There, he developed creative B2C retail solutions for a number of international locales and a B2B marketplace in India. Wanting to focus on the small business community, Jordan led Amazon Launchpad's development team, a group dedicated to bringing startups to market and helping them excel in a highly competitive retail environment.

He graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. at Carnegie Mellon University. Jordan and his wife Kristen have a daughter Nora and call Atlanta home.
